Scholarship Program

Since the inception of our Scholarship Program, many recipients have gone on to achieve amazing results and to perform exceptionally well in their areas of interest, and are now entering the workforce and sports league as fine examples of Bright men/women. The outstanding results achieved by Bright students must be attributed to the dedication and commitment of teaching staff and the pastoral care and personal development programs offered at the school, fostering an environment of support and care for each individual student. To enable students to be empowered to take control of their learning, a vast array of elective choices is available to them in the formative years, when they are beginning to understand who they are and where they are headed. As is truly characteristic of a Bright-Scholar Education, we encourage students to set personal goals that will allow them to achieve at the highest level and guide them to adopt a rigorous study ethic and dedicate themselves to do their best

Students are competitive by nature and, in essence, the attainment of a scholarship at each year level is a prize for winning, for being one of the best, for achieving at the highest level. The ultimate competition is to maintain and build on the intensity from the early year levels into the senior years. Devised to encourage our students at each year level to achieve their personal best, the Scholarship Program aims to recognise, reinforce and reward high achieving students, from the excited, nervous Grade 6 boys, to the fine, motivated Grade 12 students taking scholarships into their final year of schooling. We are committed to awarding scholarships on an annual basis to recognise personal excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities.
